The Childrens Museum rocks!

The theme at the children's museum is "Take shelter"...... They change the theme every 2 years or so. This gopher must be on the endangered species list. It's definitely one of a kind. Click on each picture to enlarge.

My very FAVORITE house. The tree house. If I lived in the 1800's I would have loved to live in a cedar tree stump. The family in this picture lived here in the Pacific Northwest in the late 1800's. Mom, dad and three kids. How cozy is that? I think maybe I was born into the wrong time period. I love how simple life was back then. They didn't have much, but they had each other. I could definitely live like that.
