I survived the sleepover/birthday party!!!!!
I had the opportunity to experience what it would be like to have septuplets (seven) 8 and 9 year olds for 24 hours. For the first 5 hours all they did was run in circles through the house yelling and screaming, playing tag, hide n seek and volleyball with a balloon. Christine was the first to fall asleep at 11:00 p.m. One by one the others fell asleep. The last two kids fell asleep at 2:30 a.m. It had to be the sugar. When Christine woke up the next morning she went into her room and started crying. The kids had destroyed her room. There was broken barbie furniture, things thrown here and there, and books everywhere. She started crying because she had spent so much time cleaning her room before the party. We cleaned her room up, and other than that the party was a success.
